Hi there, I was on here before but life got in the way and now I am back. I was diagnosed with RA in March 08, Fibro in Jan 09, and pretty much just living the RA life. I am current on Enbrel, MTX, Folic Acid, and Celebrex, not to mention tylenol arthritis. My pharmacist knows me by name, good and bad haha. Basically I have decided to seek out others and try and figure out how to make myself well again. My main issues I have are chest pains, shortness of breath, brutal barking cough..even when I laugh I end up coughing like crazy. I went to my Rheumy and she said that it is not an RA issue, go see my family dr. Went to the hospital 2x thinking I was having heart attacks, they said its RA, see your Rheumy. I've pretty much just learned to live with it. Painful, but hey, RA isn't a picnic, and I choose not to dwell. So, this being said, now I have this knee issue. I thought I was losing my mind, I was walking and I kept hearing this grindy popping sound. Kind of like when you scrunch up paper? Turns out it is BOTH of my knees. I also get spasms where you can see it through my pants! It looks like I have a heart beat in my knees. Very odd. I'm afraid to tell my Rheumatologist because she made me feel so stupid last time, but I am worried about going to my doctor AGAIN and feel like if it is 'just my RA' then I'm wasting everyone's time. Has this happened to anyone else? I am mostly just venting but also looking for people who are going through the same stuff.
Thanks for listening/reading!!
